The September Reset: 7 Ways to Get Your Routine Back Together
Share
Forget January. September is the real reset.
New term. New season. New diary. Suddenly everyone wants to reorganise their wardrobe, start Pilates, drink three litres of water and become a morning person.
We support the vision.
We just don't think you need to change your entire personality by Monday.
A good September reset should make life easier, not turn it into another full-time job.
Here's the post-holiday routine we're taking into autumn.
1. Fix your wake-up time first
Before downloading another productivity app, start with the boring bit: consistency.
Try getting up at roughly the same time on weekdays. And yes, that means resisting the temptation to negotiate another nine minutes with your alarm seven times.
Put your phone somewhere you actually have to move to reach it.
Cruel? Slight.
Effective. Usually.
2. Create a 15 minute morning routine
Your morning does not require a two-hour TikTok montage.
Think:
- Wash
- Skincare
- Water
- Breakfast
- Optifil supplements
- Get dressed
- Leave
A short routine you repeat beats an elaborate one you abandon by Wednesday.
3. Eat something
Running entirely on iced coffee and intention is not a breakfast strategy.
A varied, balanced diet is the foundation. Food supplements are there to supplement your diet - not to replace it.
4. Bring back your water bottle
You brought the cute one.
Use it.
Keeping it on your desk or in your bag is far easier than expecting yourself to spontaneously remember hydration eight times a day.
5. Make your supplement routine visible
If you choose to take supplements, consistency becomes easier when they're attached to something you already do.
Breakfast. Skincare. Your first drink of the morning.
That's habit stacking without making it your entire personality.
6. Sort out your morning energy routine
Optifil Instant Wake Up Gummies contain 150mg of natural caffeine from Guarana per two-gummy serving, alongside Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B12.
Niacin (Vitamin B2) and Vitamin B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
That makes them an easy option for adults who want a measured caffeinated product rather than another drink.
Remember that caffeine from supplements counts alongside coffee, tea, energy drinks and other sources. The FSA advised most adults that caffeine intakes up to 400mg per day are unlikely to cause adverse effects, while pregnant women are advised to limit caffeine to 200mg per day. Always follow the product directions before use.
7. Pick three September goals. Not 37.
Maybe yours are:
- Get up earlier.
- Move more.
- Stop buying lunch every day.
Perfect.
The goal isn't to become unrecognisable by October.
It's to make everyday life feel a little more sorted.
September energy.
New routine. Same you. Slightly more organised.
We'll take it!
